Welcome to DRIVEN, the youth ministry of Christ Community Church of Mooresville.  Our youth ministry focuses on moving forward to reach unchurched teens through inviting, equiping and empowering each other.  We meet weekly for our youth group time on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, and Wednesday evenings.  We also have a monthly INVITE event along with camps, retreats, service projects and other activities throughout the year.  We are an extremely active youth group and love seeing new faces.  A main Bible verse that we focus on is 2 Timothy 4:7 in which Paul says that he’s “Fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith”.  Each of us strives to say that daily.

The Drive-In

This is your main youth gathering time.  We meet Sunday evenings from 5:00pm to 6:30pm in the youth room.  We call this the Drive-In because all of the youth sermon series we have uses movies as modern day parables to deliver a Biblical truth to students so that they can apply them to their lives right where they are.  Jesus used parables to help teach, and those biblical principals are just as important today.  This time includes our youth worship band, games, video, sermons and other engaging and fun activites to get teens motivated, and unified.

The Drive-Thru

Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15 we meet in the youth room for a more indepth topical look at the Bible.  This time of study involves more Bible reading, scripture lookup and discussion in a more serious setting.  This helps us to dive deeper into biblical topics and stories so that we can really learn what God’s word means for us and to us.  Join us as we go through several topical studies ranging from a few weeks in length to several for a book study.

The Garage

Just as small groups are important to adults, we believe that small groups are just as important to teens.  We meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00pm in age based, and gender based groups.  We meet outside of the church in host homes to help create a comfortable atmosphere where teens can feel safe and are willing to share.  The purpose of these groups is for the teens to grow closer in their relationships with each other while at the same time developing their relationship with Christ.
